【#香港研究】記得幾年前，曾投稿某份國際級期刊，編輯還未看文章就退回，說「本期刊不會考慮有關香港的文章」（有趣地，其後我把文章成功投到China Quarterly，還拿到Gordon White Prize）。由於近年國際社會較關注香港（要多謝中國因素），這種情況已經有所減少；但沒有一份專門的香港研究期刊，始終是一大不足。尤幸今天終於出現突破，全球首份香港研究期刊《香港研究》終於出版 ── 自己香港自己研究，請廣傳這份香港人主理的香港研究期刊！
Several years ago, I submitted a manuscript to an international journal. Without taking a look on my manuscript, the editor returned it to me saying that ❝our journal will not consider Hong Kong-related papers❞ (Interestingly, later I published this manuscript to China Quarterly and got Gordon White Prize). In recent years because international community has paid more attention on Hong Kong (thanks to China Factor), this situation has become less common; but the lack of a designated Hong Kong Studies journal is still a problem. Fortunately we finally see a breakthrough with the publication of a new journal namely ❝Hong Kong Studies❞ ── Please spread this Hong Kong Studies journal which is managed by Hongkongers!
